HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS FOOTBALL LEAGUE KICKS OFF NEXT WEEK

Some 47 schools across seven zones will compete in the 2019 ISSA/Locker room sports high schools Girls football league, which kicks off on February 12.

The league gets underway at the Spanish town prison oval with a double header starting at 1 pm with two former champions st Jago and Bridgeport facing off in Zone H’, before defending champions excelsior meets Camperdown in the feature zone f’ game at 3 o’ clock.

Last season’s beaten finalist Denham town will open their account against Edith Dalton James next Friday at the Edward Seaga sports complex.

The league is set to run for three months with the grand final tentatively set for April 16.
