American singer and actress, Halle Bailey, took to social media to express her disapproval of her son, Halo, being displayed on Twitch sensation Kai Cenat’s live stream last night (November 6).
In a now deleted tweet, the Little Mermaid star stated, “Just so you know, I’m out of town, and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified, and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and am saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I’m out of town.”
DDG, Hailey’s ex-boyfriend and father of Halo, was a guest on Kai Cenat’s non-stop Twitch stream, having the nine-month-old in his arm while millions of streamers watched.
While most social media users understood a mother’s concern, they were confused by the “Do It” singer’s outrage, since she has previously shown their son’s face on her social media platform on numerous occasions.
Both DDG and Halle have given their millions of followers access to their lives as parents after hiding an entire pregnancy.
One fan commented, “Halle posts Halo on Snapchat every day all day, but Twitch is where she draws the line?”
One fan rebutted with concern for Halo, as Cenat is known for his outrageous stunts, which could create an unsafe environment for the toddler.
Halle resurfaced today, doubling down on her comment in a new tweet, which read, “Yesterday maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. Thank you Kai for the gifts for Halo”.
