After arresting ASAP Rocky last week in connection to a 2021 shooting, authorities have now seized multiple guns from the rapper’s Los Angeles home.
Reports are that the cops will run a background check on the firearms to if the weapons were “lawfully purchased and legally registered,” and are not connected to the 2021 shooting.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that detectives will run ballistic tests on the weapons to determine if Rocky was the triggerman.
Rocky was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport last Wednesday, April 20 minutes after landing in LA. Complex reports that police served the search warrant at Rocky’s residence following the arrest, with officers utilizing a battering ram to enter the property. Cops were spotted leaving the property with “a box of potential evidence,” although it’s unclear if the firearms were included.
