The government has pledged to support the families of students who were involved in yesterday’s crash along the Bustamante Highway in Clarendon.

12-year-old Richard Tulloch, of Turner’s District, Chapelton, and 16-year-old Jody-Ann Lodge, of New Bowens District, both in Clarendon were killed in the crash.

They attended the Lennon High School in the parish.

3 other students were hospitalised, one in critical condition.

Member of Parliament for North Central Clarendon, Robert Nesta Morgan, said one of the deceased students was from his constituency.

Mr. Morgan who visited Lennon High School yesterday said that grief counselling was done.

He said Prime Minister Andrew Holness has pledged the government’s assistance.
