The government has set up a new system to help those who wish to volunteer for Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts.
Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment, and Sport, Olivia Grange, announced that a Volunteer Registry is now live on the government’s website, supportjamaica.gov.jm, to coordinate donations and support.
During a press briefing at Jamaica House on Monday, Minister Grange acknowledged the overwhelming desire from citizens to assist in the recovery process.
