The government has expanded its COVID Care Serve Jamaica Grant program targeting vulnerable members of the population as well as other groups that are in need.
Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke, said the funding is in respond to the increased difficulty people face in accessing basic items such as food.
The overall budgetary allocation for the program has been doubled.
Dr.Clarke said PATH households will get a $10,000 grant.
