Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange has revealed that the Government acquired the JamWorld Entertainment Centre in Portmore, St Catherine.
She made the disclosure this week during the launch of the return of Sting 2022, the event that brought prominence to the entertainment venue.
Minister Grange said plans are in place to turn the 70-acre site into a state-of-the-art facility.
