Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced the Government has extended the National Housing Trust (NHT) Hurricane Relief Loan programme to March 2027.
The loan offers up to $3.5 million at two per cent interest to support repairs and resilience upgrades after Hurricane Melissa.
Other measures, including a mortgage moratorium and disaster relief grant, have also been expanded to assist affected homeowners.
Thousands have already benefited, with billions disbursed to help families rebuild stronger and more resilient homes.
