American rapper GloRilla, born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, is facing felony drug charges after police responded to a burglary at her Georgia home over the weekend.
Deputies say three suspects broke into her Forsyth County residence around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday and were met with gunfire from someone inside. The intruders fled, and no injuries were reported.
The "TGIF" rapper was not home at the time.
During the investigation, police say they smelled marijuana and later found a “significant amount” of it and a Schedule 1 (one) drug in her master bedroom closet. She turned herself in on Tuesday and was released the same day on a $22,260 bond.
Her lawyers argue that she’s the victim, not the suspect, accusing police of prioritizing drug charges over finding the burglars. No arrests have been made in the break-in.
GloRilla previously faced DUI charges in Georgia in 2024. The burglary investigation is ongoing.
