Gilbert Set For Montego Bay United Coaching Job

Share

Xavier Gilbert is set to be announced as the new head coach of Montego Bay United, becoming the club’s fourth managerial appointment in just two seasons.

Gilbert, who recently spent two seasons at the helm of Arnett Gardens FC, will replace Paul “Tegat” Davis, the former Reggae Boy who took charge of the team midway through last season.

Under Davis's leadership, Montego Bay United achieved a significant milestone, reaching the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) play-offs for the first time in nearly a decade.

The experienced Gilbert will now be tasked with building on that momentum and bringing further stability to the western-based outfit as they prepare for the upcoming JPL campaign.
