After much anticipation, Grammy award winner Koffee’s Gifted debut album is finally here!
The album consists of 10 tracks including ‘West Indies’ and ‘Lock Down’ and her most recent release, ‘Shine’.
Two years ago Koffee became the first female artist ever to win the Grammy for best reggae album, even though Rapture was not an album but an EP.
Since the album’s release, the reception so far has been positive, one fan commented, “On replay all week” another wrote, “certified hit already”. Critics online are already calling it subtle and bold.
Rolling Stone calls Koffee’s performances on the album, “consistently bewitching she skips between honeyed, heartfelt trills, intricate acrobatic and mind-bogglingly meticulous flows.”
