FORMER WEST INDIES BATSMAN MARLON SAMUELS BANNED FOR SIX YEARS AFTER ANTI-CORRUPTION BREACH

Former West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels has been officially slapped with a six year ban for breaching anti corruption rules, following a hearing from an independent tribunal.

The ban was confirmed today by the ICC and starts from November 11, 2023.

The 42 year old who retired from all professional cricket in November 2020, was found guilty on a total of four charges in September 2021 and then found guilty of the breaches in August this year.
