Tropical Storm Eta’s wet, windy effects on South Florida are declining, but the region remains on high alert for rain and flooding.
The National Hurricane Centre, NHC says Broward and South Florida could get another round of rain and inclement weather from Eta Monday night.
The National Hurricane Centre says Tropical Storm Eta made landfall in the Florida Keys late Sunday, as the storm’s rainbands subjected South Florida to high winds and “life-threatening” flash floods.
South Florida will experience the high winds, rain and chance of tornadoes into Monday.
A flash-flood warning was in effect for the region on Monday.
