Flippa Mafia will remain behind bars for now following a court hearing earlier today.
The dancehall artiste, known for tracks like Unfinished House, has been entangled in legal troubles for years after being convicted on drug trafficking and money laundering charges.
Previously branded the “Flossing King,” Flippa built his name in dancehall through flashy performances, high-energy stage shows and a larger-than-life image that often saw him handing out cash to fans mid-performance.
He was originally sentenced in connection with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and money laundering charges, before being paroled from state prison in 2022 after serving nine years of a 25-year sentence.
After returning to music in 2025 with tracks like Benz Pon Benz and Inna Mi Zone, many saw the moment as the start of a comeback chapter.
