Reports are that Jamaica’s first-time Olympian Carey McLeod is set to miss the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after a positive COVID-19 test
The Long and Triple Jumper was preparing documentation to fly to Japan, but was grounded after the result came back positive.
The test was required 72 hours before departure to Japan.
The Games get underway today with the Opening Ceremony inside the Olympic Stadium.
