Rapper Fetty Wap was arrested in New York on Thursday as he arrived for the Rolling Loud Music Festival on federal drug charges.
It was noted that FBI agents arrested the rapper at Citi Field and he will be in federal court in Central Islip to answer the charges sometime today Friday, October 29.
ABC7 News also notes that Fetty and five others, including a New Jersey correction officer, are allegedly a part of a drug distribution ring, dealing heroin and fentanyl. If convicted, Fetty and the other defendants face maximum life imprisonment.
The “Trap Queen” artiste was previously arrested back in 2019 on three counts of battery, and in 2017 on a DUI charge after police say he was caught drag racing another car on a New York City highway.
