FESTIVAL SONG ALBUM UP FOR GRAMMY CONSIDERATION

The 12 track album from Jamaica Festival Song Album, featuring the 12 finalists in this year’s competition, is on the list of entries for a Grammy award.

This was announced by Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange, who says the album is being considered among the entries for the Best Reggae Album Grammy award. 

The minister said the first round of voting takes place between October 22 and November 5 ahead of the announcement of the nominees.

The album features songs performed by Stacious, DB, Tamo J, Kimiela ‘Candy’ Isaacs, Peso, Althea Hewitt, Father Reece, Lutan Fyah, I-Octane, Dez-I Boyd, Reggae Maxx and Fab 5.
