According to ABC News, a federal grand jury has indicted the four former Minneapolis police officers involved in George Floyd’s arrest and death.

In the indictments that were unsealed this morning, all four officers are accused of violating Floyd’s constitutional rights as he was restrained face-down on the pavement and gasping for air.

Chauvin, Lane, Kueng and Thao were charged for failing to provide George with medical care. Chauvin, Kueng and Thao were specifically charged with violating Floyd’s right to be free from unreasonable seizure and excessive force.

Chauvin was also charged with a second indictment in 2017 stemming from the arrest and neck restraint of a 14-year-old boy.

Last month Chauvin was convicted of second and third-degree murder as well as manslaughter in Floyd’s death, he is set to be sentenced in June.
