One man is dead while two boys aged 6 and 12 are among 5 people who were shot and wounded in Accompong, St. Elizabeth last evening.
Dead is Lloyd Davis of Bethsalem, St. Elizabeth.
Reports are that the shooting followed the annual January 6 celebration in the community. Police say the matter has been reported to the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (IPROB) and the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
On Wednesday, the Police warned people not to attend the annual event as it would be in breach of the disaster risk management act, DRMA.
