Faith Evans Honors Voletta Wallace After Her Passing at 72

Share

American songstress, Faith Evans, paid tribute to Voletta Wallace, mother of The Notorious B.I.G., following her passing at age 72.

In a heartfelt Instagram post dropped earlier today (March 5), the “Soon As I Get Home” crooner praised Wallace’s strength, grace, and dedication to preserving Biggie’s legacy after his 1997 murder.

Wallace, who passed away from natural causes on February 21, managed Biggie’s estate—now worth an estimated $160 million—advocated for justice in his murder case, and produced the 2009 biopic “Notorious”.

Evans and Biggie had one of hip-hop’s most iconic love stories, marrying in 1994 just days after meeting. They had a son, Christopher Jordan Wallace Jr., in 1996.
