Elusive reggae musician Chronixx made an appearance at the New York stop of neo-soul singer Cleo Sol’s concert tour on Monday night.
The Jamaican people have longed for a planned Chronixx performance since the National Stadium stop of his Chronology tour in 2017. Recently, he made surprise appearances at Jo Mersa’s Birthday Celebration concert at Bob Marley Museum in March after another random performance at Skyline Levels for a reggae month event.
Despite these surprises locally, the conscious vocalist has continued to perform on a large scale abroad. The latest of these shows is an appearance with frequent collaborator Cleo Sol. Chronixx joined Cleo Sol for a rendition of Shine, the renowned anthem, to an outstanding reaction from fans of the two artistes. Chronixx has also appeared on Sol’s track, 'Reasons'.
Local fans of the 'Smile Jamaica' artiste continue to wait for not only concert dates but also an announcement of his highly anticipated third album.
