There’s a  trough across Jamaica.
The Met Service says the Trough is expected to remain across the island through to Tuesday when a Pre-Frontal Trough moves within the vicinity of the island.
Additionally, windy conditions are expected to persist especially across the south coast through to tomorrow due to the presence of the Low-Level Jet Stream.
A Low-Level Jet Stream is a narrow band of fast flowing wind in the lower levels of the atmosphere.
Tonight, becoming partly cloudy
Tomorrow morning will be partly cloudy across north-eastern parishes, mainly sunny elsewhere.
In the afternoon expect isolated showers and possible thunderstorms across hilly areas and sections of southern parishes.
Minimum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay tonight is 24 degrees.
