Entertainment Advisory Board (EAB) hopeful about full reopening of its sector

The Entertainment Advisory Board (EAB) is optimistic about full reopening of its sector ,with vaccinated fans being able to attend some sporting and entertainment events.

According to EAB Chairman Howard McIntosh, for a second year, Reggae Month celebrations have been largely virtual, and it is hoped that next year’s celebration will be mostly physical or a balanced, blended approach.

In a release by EAB Chairman, it stated that the loss to entertainment, cultural and creative industries, E-C-C-Is in Jamaica over the last two years is approximately $500 billion dollars (approximately US$3.3 billion).
