Slim Shady is headed to the Hall of Fame.

Eminem is among the inductees for the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The Detroit rapper joins the diverse class of 2022 including Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, Eurythmics, and Carly Simon.

According to Rolling Stone, Eminem is the only hip-hop artist to be inducted as a Performer this year and the only artist that began releasing music in the ’90s.

Additionally, he is the only act to be inducted in his first year of eligibility, an achievement previously matched by Tupac Shakur, Public Enemy, Nirvana, and Guns N’ Roses.

Eminem is the latest rapper to be inducted into the Rock Hall following hip-hop icons JAY-Z and LL Cool J last year.
