Dancehall star Elephant Man is set to perform in the UK for the first time in 16 years at Ultra Weekend in London on August 16-17, after securing a work permit.
"Ah, just God and time," the ‘Energy God’ exclaimed, expressing gratitude to his team and the UK High Commission for making it possible. "I’m just happy to see my family again—16 years is a long time."
The entertainer, whose real name is Oneil Bryan, revealed that he has a 19-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son in the UK.
Tameka Reynolds of Reynolds Entertainment Agency, who played a key role in securing Ele’s return, called the moment a big win for Dancehall.
It follows recent US visa reinstatements for Vybz Kartel, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, and Sizzla.
For now, Ultra Weekend is his only UK show, but fans can stay tuned for more surprises.
