So today is our election day here in Jamaica and of course it is trending on twitter.
With the two leaders having already cast their votes, both are sure that their party will win the election this year. PNP leader Peter Phillips says he will retire from politics and step down as opposition leader should his party lose today’s contest.
However social media is using this as entertainment as they are having a field day.
A twitter user said “Not just twitter fingers but voting fingers.”
“If mi follow twitter me think the whole Jamaica a vote for jlp”
“Honestly nuh care if JLP wins. Mi just want my MP fi lose.”
While over on Instagram a user said “Mi nah vote fi JLP because all now mi cant get a job so wah d sense.”
