Triple Olympic gold medallist Elaine Thompson-Herah had to settle for second today in the women’s 60m event at the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold Series in Poland.
Thompson-Herah, the slowest out of the blocks in the event, clocked a season’s best 7.04 seconds to finish behind the home girl Ewa Swoboda who posted a meet record 7.03 seconds.
Earlier Jamaica’s Roneisha McGregor took third in the women’s 400m final in 53.06 seconds.
