The Health Ministry will suspend administering first dose Pfizer vaccines effective today, in order to ensure that persons due their second shot will get it.

Speaking at last evening’s Covid Conversations Press Briefing, Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton said the Ministry is awaiting a definitive response from the United States, on the delivery of another batch of Pfizer vaccines.

He said all persons due their second dose should go to the vaccination site as scheduled.

Persons who were to get their shot at the St. Georges College tomorrow (Sat), are to go to the National Arena instead.
