Education Minister Fayval Williams yesterday (Tues) unveiled the government’s three part plan, to help children recover from learning loss due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking in parliament on Tuesday Mrs. Williams pointed out that the ‘Recover smarter, national school learning and intervention plan‘, includes, the national homework programme, the national extra lessons classes, and the national summer school.
Mrs. Williams said the plan will allow for an improvement in the academic performance of students enrolled in the programme over the summer period and during the school year.
It will also provide academic enrichment activities for students, through its intervention framework.
The recovery plan will use both online and face to face engagements.
