Former president of the Nurses’ Association of Jamaica (NAJ) Edith Allwood-Anderson has died.
Reports are that the former president had been battling an illness for some time.
Mrs. Allwood-Anderson served as a Nurse for some 35 years and was elected as President of the Nurses’ Association twice.
