Wonder-kid Dujon Whisper Rchards has been withdrawn from Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz squad for Saturday’s friendly international against Guatemala at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.
According to his manager Craig Butler, Richards will now officially join English Premier League team Chelsea in the United Kingston after turning 18 last month.
At 17, Richards was officially announced as a Chelsea signee in June after signing a pre-contract.
He was subsequently named as a training only member of Chelsea’s pre-season tour of America back in July.
