Leader of the Jamaica Labour Party JLP Dr. Andrew Holness, will be sworn in as Jamaica’s Prime Minister today (Tues), following his party’s win in the September 3 General Election.
The JLP captured 35 seats, while the People’s National Party PNP secured 28.
Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen will administer the oath at King’s House at 4:00 p.m.
Today’s ceremony marks the fourth time Dr. Holness has assumed the role, having previously been sworn in in 2011, 2016, and 2020.
The Cabinet will take their oaths tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
