Dovey Magnum’s team has released a statement as the entertainer is still being detained at an Immigration facility in Atlanta.
The statement said Dovey’s detention stems from her overstaying in the United States.
An attorney has been retained as the entertainer looks to rectify the situation.
The Statement also dispelled rumours that the case was criminal in nature, and says the entertainer was detained at the airport before entering Atlanta.
Dovey is also said to be working on an album.
