The country’s Doctors are renewing their call for tighter COVID-19 measures as the health services continue to be overwhelmed by COVID-19. There has been a significant spike in cases in recent weeks.
Covid hospitalisations have also skyrocketed with close to 500 persons hospitalised with the virus.
Additionally, the Health Ministry has announced that starting tomorrow, only emergency cases will be accepted at Jamaica’s public health hospitals.
