Sean "Diddy" Combs officially turned down a potential plea deal in front of a judge in court at the final hearing before his highly anticipated federal sex-crimes trial.
At a hearing in Manhattan federal court on Thursday local time, United States District Judge Arun Subramanian asked Mr. Combs if he had reviewed and rejected the offer.
Diddy confirmed that he rejected a prosecution offer for a plea deal, paving the way for the rapper to go to trial on sex trafficking charges. Combs was arrested in September and subsequently charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all five counts.
