Disgraced American hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is suing NBCUniversal, Peacock, and Ample Entertainment for $100 million, claiming their documentary "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy" aired false accusations about him.
The documentary, which was released last month, includes allegations of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and other crimes, all of which the “Act Bad” rapper denies.
Combs' lawsuit states the producers knowingly included false claims, such as his involvement in assaults and murders, with no regard for the truth.
The documentary features interviews alleging misconduct by Diddy, including threats and coercion.
Prosecutors have also accused Combs of using threats, violence, and financial control to manipulate women and cover up misconduct, including sex trafficking and forced labour.
Combs’ legal team denies all allegations, calling them baseless and defamatory.
NBCUniversal and Ample Entertainment are yet to respond to the lawsuit.
