Diddy Asks Judge for Mercy in 4-Page Apology Ahead of Sentencing Today

Ahead of his sentencing today (Fri), Diddy wrote a four-page letter to Judge Arun Subramanian apologizing for his actions and asking for leniency.

In the letter, he said he takes full responsibility, expressed remorse to those he hurt, and specifically apologized to Cassie Ventura and another ex-girlfriend identified only as “Jane.”

Diddy explained that his crimes stemmed from selfishness, drug use, and a life of excess. He claimed his year in prison since September 2024, has been rehabilitative and pleaded for another chance to be a better father, son, community leader, and person overall.

He faces sentencing for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, with possible outcomes ranging from time already served to a maximum of 20 years in prison.

Prosecutors are pushing for an additional 11 years, while his defense team is asking for time served.

Diddy, now 55, also intends to address the court directly at his hearing.
