The minister of health has not given the green light for a Reggae Valentine’s Concert scheduled for today in the Bahamas.
In a press briefing, Minister of Health, Dr Michael Darville told reporters that the application from the promoters have been denied twice, and if a third was submitted, it was “very unlikely” it would be successful.
The minister further reminded the country that they are still facing a pandemic and the hospitals are still under tremendous strain. The minister believes that the only way to contain the spread of the virus is to limit large gatherings.
