American actor and director Tyler Perry is fighting back after actor Derek Dixon hit him with a jaw-dropping $260 million lawsuit.
Dixon, who appeared on Perry’s shows The Oval and Ruthless, claims the filmmaker promised him career opportunities but instead created “a coercive, sexually exploitative dynamic”.
In his first TV interview, Dixon told ABC News that he arrived at the massive $260 million figure because he claims he lost his job, income, and even his show.
He accuses the "Madea" star of harassment, assault, and retaliation when he didn’t play along.
Perry’s attorney, Matthew Boyd, shot down the claims, calling the suit “a scam” and insisting Perry “will not be shaken down.”
Dixon said the lawsuit isn’t just about money; it’s about accountability. He says justice would mean ensuring no other actor faces what Perry did to him.
