The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) has issued a statement condemning the murder of 38-year-old Correctional Officer Shannon Briscoe whose body was discovered this morning in Seaview Gardens after he was reported missing.
Commissioner of Corrections Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Gary Rowe says the DCS family is saddened by the loss of CO1 Briscoe.
CO1 Briscoe joined the DCS 2020 as a member of the 78th Intake of Correctional Officers.
The Department’s Chaplaincy Unit says it will be providing counselling to those affected by this horrendous act.
