The death toll from Sunday morning’s tragic crash along the Salt Marsh main road has climbed to five.
According to reports, two individuals died at the scene after the minivan in which they were travelling overturned. Three more victims later succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the Falmouth Public General Hospital.
Seven other passengers remain hospitalized.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released as investigations continue.
The Falmouth Police are leading the probe into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
