DDG’s request for a restraining order against Halle Bailey gets denied amidst court battle

A judge has denied rapper and streamer DDG’s temporary restraining order request on his ex, Little Mermaid star and singer Halle Bailey. The actress and singer are now free to leave the US with their 17-month-old son, Halo.

This development follows the Wednesday filing of an emergency motion where DDG asked the court to deny Halle’s recent request to take Halo to Italy for work, accusing the actress of being "an imminent emotional and psychological risk" to herself and their child, citing "routine emotional coercion and manipulation to exert her control over me, often threatening me by using self-harm or ending her life" throughout their "on again/off again" relationship of almost three years.

DDG's denied filing comes weeks after Bailey filed to obtain sole legal and physical custody of Halo, alleging that DDG attacked her during a co-parenting handoff in January. She was granted a temporary restraining order against DDG, who has denied the abuse allegations.
