Just yesterday (October 9), we brought you the story of Halle Bailey's announcement of her upcoming album, "Love? Or Something Like That." Well, this morning, Halle's ex, DDG, dropped a single of his own.
The track called "17 More Years" from his new album called "Moo" was released this morning (October 10) by the rapper.
The lyrics seemingly address the ongoing situation with his ex-bae and their infant son, Halo.
It also touches on the ongoing custody battle between the two, but DDG manages to not mention any names.
A part of the song says:
"I don't wanna fight no more, tired of the court dates
Lawyers gettin’ over on us, watchin' money go to waste
We should all get together on his birthday, light the cake If we talk, it'll get better, go ahead and drop the case ....
....You don't even know I got love for you still
Said you want me gone, is that really how you feel? Might as well get along, we got seventeen more years”
The streamer and rapper also mentioned their communication issues, stating they now communicate through the mail and insist that he should be a part of his son's life.
However, what really has social media talking is the fact that DDG admits that Halle is a "good mother".
In August, both Halle and DDG appeared in court in Los Angeles Superior Court, where both parents were ordered to keep Halo off social media.
Is this growth, or is DDG simply missing his "Little Mermaid"? Ziptocrats, let me know your thoughts!
