A special musical tribute to legendary dancehall producer Dave Kelly, was the major highlight during festival night 2 of the return of reggae Sumfest 2022.
It unfolded at the Catherine hall entertainment Complex early Sunday morning as thousands of patrons gathered to witness the monumental occasion which lasted close to a hour.
Dave Kelly, via his Madhouse Productions imprint, is labelled the greatest dancehall producer of all time, having crafted scores of riddims such as SHOWTIME, FIESTA, STINK, HAUNTED, BUG AND JOYRIDE, to name a few, from which the majority of Dancehall hits were birthed.
Following their performances, dancehall artiste Cham ,Mr. Eazi and Wayne Wonder spoke to the joy of being able to share the same stage to pay tribute.
Meantime, Frisco Kidd and Beenie Man share similar sentiments.
