Comedian Dave Chappelle’s latest Netflix stand-up special Sticks & Stones has been making headlines.

The legendary comedian is known for pushing the envelope and he did not stray away from that routine with his latest jokes. He tackled controversial topics including Kevin Hart stepping down from hosting the Academy Awards, not believing the Leaving Neverland Documentary, comedian Louis C.K., being accused of sexual misconduct, the LGBTQIA or “Alphabet People” being offended by his jokes, and, of course, the R. Kelly scandal.

The special is filled with truly dark humor, the kind of humor persons frown upon. But in fact it is just his plain truth and his beliefs, just not sugar-coated.

Since the airing, the Michael Jackson accusers have spoken out. James Safechuck told TMZ that he is heartbroken for all those children who look to see how they will be received when they finally find the courage to speak out about their sexual abuse and Wade Robson says Chappelle can say what he wants as it reveals who he truly is.

The co-executor of Michael Jackson’s estate, John Branca, has also voiced his feelings siding with Dave, saying Robson and Safechuck are damn liars. He added that they exploited the King of Pop’s generosity waiting until he was dead and unable to defend himself, to start accusing him.

Now there are persons moving to ‘cancel’ Dave Chappelle, citing his insensitive jokes.
