The late neo-soul artiste, D'Angelo, can smile in musical heaven as his music streams have surged 796%.
The singer who passed away due to cancer on October 14 now has three songs on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs charts for the first time.
The top three singles are "Untitled (How Does It Feel)", which has 2.5 million streams, while "Lady" has 2.2 million streams and "Brown Sugar" has 1.9 million streams.
That means that D'Angelo now has a total of five (5) entries on the Hot R&B Songs chart, which joins some of his earlier singles: "Really Love" and "Sugah Daddy".
His catalogue has also sold over 9000 digital downloads, with "Untitled" debuting at number one on the R&B Digital Song Sales Chart.
After the crooner's passing, scores of celebs took to social media to express their adoration for the late artiste.
Artistes such as Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Jill Scott, and Jamie Foxx spoke on his influence on R&B music.
