Dancehall Artist D’Angel is quite upset after her arguments were misrepresented.
D’Angel went live on Instagram at the weekend, where she addressed concerns about gaining recognition for her music which she believes has been clean for the last 10 years.
She went on to say further that people have only been acknowledging Koffee’s music as inspirational…and that’s when things got heated, with many users saying she should not be comparing herself to Koffee.
Today, she’s sought to clear the air, stating that she did not disrespect Koffee and her musical efforts.
She says many times her music has been shelved by selectors because they deem it ”not raunchy” enough.
