Dancehall artiste Chronic Law, whose real name is Ackeme Jermane Campbell, is scheduled to appear in a Georgia federal court on August 31 on a firearm charge.

The 32-year-old was arrested in Miami on July 5 and is accused of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Federal authorities allege that four guns and 92 rounds of ammunition were recovered after a high-speed pursuit in Turner County, Georgia, in November 2025.

If convicted, Chronic Law could face up to 15 years in federal prison, three years of supervised release and a US$250,000 fine; the allegations have not been proven in court.
