Pioneer entertainer and the Godfather of toasting, Daddy ‘U-Roy’ Beckford, will finally be laid to rest on May 19.
According to local reports, persons wishing to pay their final respects to the late veteran entertainer can participate in the public viewing of the body at Perry’s Funeral Home in Spanish Town, St Catherine. This will take place next Monday (May 17), Tuesday (May 18) and Wednesday (May 19) before the burial. All COVID 19 protocols will be strictly enforced.
Daddy U-Roy died on February 17, he was 79. His burial will take place on Wednesday, May 19, at 1 p.m. at the Dovecot Memorial Park and Crematorium in St Catherine.
