The Caribbean Examinations Council CXC has sought to assure, that efforts are being made to have the result of the June/July examinations released by mid October.
In a statement, CXC pointed out that it had to modify its strategy for examinations, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and following consultations with regional governments, the date for the sitting of exams was delayed by two weeks.
CXC said it is working acidulously to minimize the impact of the delays, occasioned by the disruption of Covid-19 protocols on the logistical operations associated with the marking, grading and release of examination results.
It said the release of results will be a three-tiered approach.
